Much alike the TOB-155, the TOB-195 comes in an attractive package. It has a digital display for everything, including the temperature setting, so there's no guesswork involved there; you can get exactly the temperature you want. The controls are very easy to use, and they're intuitively designed. The manual does a good job of explaining them if you do happen to have any trouble figuring it out. Cuisinart TOB-195 is a large 6-slice convection toaster oven, meaning you can cook nearly anything a conventional oven can. It can fit a full 12-inch pizza, or you can cook things like chicken, frozen vegetables, hams, or anything that you can fit inside. It comes with a high-quality baking and broiling pans, which are a step above the standard pans that come with most toaster ovens. Along with allowing you to cook larger items, the large interior makes the unit easy to clean as you get easy access to all of the corners and crevices. As with the TOB-155, the stainless trip on the front door wraps around inside of the oven, so it heats up a bit when it's in use. As with any toaster oven, take care to not touch the outer shell while it's in use. The handle does, however, stay perfectly cool at all times.
Is the Cuisinart TOB-195 Worth The Price?
Just like the TOB-155, the TOB-195 is a great toaster oven. The addition of a convection fan makes it an unbeatable kitchen appliance. This little unit can be a stand-in for many uses of your regular oven, with the benefit of it running much cooler and using much less energy. When you're baking a cake in August, you don't want to have your hot oven running all day; just use the Cuisinart TOB-195 and keep your kitchen cooler while getting the job done faster.
